Description
The Visqueen HP Tanking Primer improves the bond between Visqueen self-adhesive and damp-proofing and tanking membranes. You can use the Visqueen HP Tanking Primer on a variety of surfaces, including brick, metal, and concrete.
Visqueen HP Tanking Primer uses
- To improve the bond between the membrane and the substrate. The primer creates a rough, textured surface that the membrane can adhere to more effectively. This helps to prevent the membrane from peeling or lifting over time.
- To seal the substrate and prevent the ingress of water. The primer fills in any cracks or pores in the substrate, creating a watertight barrier. This helps to protect the substrate from moisture damage.
- To prepare damp surfaces for tanking. Visqueen HP Tanking Primer can be used on damp surfaces, without the need to dry them out first. This can save time and money, especially in areas where the ground is naturally damp
